Dear Fellow Non-Techy Challengers,
I joined 100X in January 2022, and often found myself frustrated if not resentful and even angry that technology agility was expected of me. I didn't mind learning how to do stuff, but I felt very put down when I was told I should be able to do it when I didn't have the foggiest idea where to start. I'd go try to get something done, and within 15 minutes, I'd be twiddling my thumbs having no idea which button to push next.
I joined another group which at the time had monthly live calls with answers to all our submitted questions. It was promising, but not sufficient. Then the group took a turn to a new direction, and although I could make appointments (at a price) to learn, I was really needing a lot more attention. At least that's how I felt.
But then I reached a turn of my own. Looking back it seems sudden. But somehow I became more relaxed regarding tech. I finally realized that I could learn, and overcame most of my fear of clicking on the wrong button. I can assure you that not only was a blessing to me but also a relief to my coaches. Yes, I had two.
Now, it's a two years since I began, and I've successfully run 8 challenges. I actually love punching the buttons, and although I don't claim to be an expert (not from a long shot), I'm thrilled to be able to share what I know to help you get a jump start with the tech so you can use challenges to do what you're REALLY called to do.
Let's do this!
Love,
Mary
